RE: Blackthorn Manor Containment Status
Threshold Holdings Ltd. (Department 8 special purpose vehicle) acquired property in 2015 following systematic monitoring under Margaret Blackthorn's preservation framework. Research facility designation provides operational cover for permanent containment team.
THE WATCHERS: Seven entities existing partially in our dimension. Not hostile—assessed as dimensional refugees cooperating with containment to prevent greater threat.
THE OPENER: [REDACTED] — Entity from Watchers' realm seeking to collapse dimensional boundaries permanently. Primary containment target.
Released under Freedom of Information Act 2000. Document heavily redacted.

This document establishes protocols for the monitoring and containment of Site BM-001 (Blackthorn Manor, Northumberland) following the evacuation of ██████████████ on 21 March 1942.
Site BM-001 was identified as a Category 7 Threshold Location following the ████████ Incident of March 1942. The site demonstrates persistent dimensional instability centred on the structure designated "East Wing" and the subterranean feature designated "████████".
Previous containment was maintained by the Blackthorn family under terms of an agreement dating to ████. Following the death of ████████ Blackthorn in 1941 and the incapacitation of ████████ Blackthorn during the March 1942 event, Department 8 has assumed monitoring responsibility.
The entities designated ████████ (colloquially "The Watchers") exist in a state of partial manifestation within the dimensional interface created by ████████████████. Under normal containment conditions, their influence is limited to:
Complete manifestation would result in ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
4.1 Physical access to Site BM-001 is restricted to authorised personnel only.
4.2 The structure designated "The Apparatus" in the east wing attic must be maintained according to specifications detailed in Appendix ██.
4.3 Ritual maintenance schedules established by the Blackthorn family must be continued. See Appendix ██ for procedures.
4.4 Any breach of the dimensional interface must be reported immediately to ████████████████.
4.5 Personnel exhibiting signs of ████████ contamination must be isolated and processed according to Protocol ██.
Site BM-001 is one of ██ Category 7 Threshold Locations currently under Department 8 monitoring in the United Kingdom. Related sites include:
Coordination between sites is essential during periods of elevated dimensional activity, particularly during ████████ alignments.

Archive Note: This document fragment was obtained through FOI request by the Preservation Society in 2001. The Ministry of Defence confirmed the existence of "Department 8" but declined to provide information about its current activities or the nature of "Threshold Locations."
The document confirms government awareness of unusual properties at Blackthorn Manor and suggests an ongoing monitoring programme. The reference to "ritual maintenance schedules" aligns with Margaret Blackthorn's annotations regarding family duties.
